BRIEF INFORMATION ON ISLAM & MUSLIMS 

 What Is Islam?
The religion of Islam is the complete acceptance of and obedience to the teachings of God, which He revealed to His Prophet Muhammad  (P.b.u.h.).
Islam is a religion of mercy and a complete way of life. Islam, simply means "submission" and derives from a word meaning peace and mercy.
Religion - Islam is a system of divine guidance which if chosen as a criterion for a way of life is intended to show mankind the way to happiness and success in both this temporary world and the eternal hereafter.

Is Islam A New Religion?
Islam is not a new religion, but the same truth that God (Allah s.w.t) revealed through all His Prophets to all people.
Beginning with Adam peace be upon him, the first man and the first Prophet, and continuing through to Muhammad (P.b.u.h.), the last Prophet, God the Most High has revealed to man His divine religions.
In essences, all these religions are Islam and the followers Muslims.
Prophet Muhammad (P.b.u.h.) Said: “ All prophets are brothers. Their (Faith) religions is one - same”.
However, since these earlier divine religions were later mixed with the incorrect sayings and ideas of some priests; their messages became corrupt and consequently lost their original purity and were no longer dependable for guidance.
These messages were also meant for a particular people or time. For this reason God (Allah s.w.t.), through His Prophet Muhammad (P.b.u.h.), revealed to the whole of mankind and all the jinns the last and the most complete of all the religions, namely the religion of ISLAM.
One who has entered into the fold of Islam is called a Muslim.
Once again; Islam is the most recent religion revealed by God (Allah s.w.t.) to all humanity.
Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) was sent the to the whole of mankind and all the jinn. He is the last Messenger of God (Allah s.w.t.) and the seal of the Prophets.
He (Muhammad (P.b.u.h.) did not come to abolish, but to purify, admonish, approve, correct and to complete the previous messages which were revealed to all the previous Prophets who came before Him.
 Among those Prophets were Jesus, Moses, Abraham, David, Jacob, Isaac, Ishmael, Noah and many more.
